Our Hope:

The Gig Harbor & Key Peninsula Suicide Prevention Coalition includes educators, parents, mental health professionals, social service providers, first responders and youth in an effort to  address the issue of youth suicide in our community. We are trying to determine several things:

• The extent of the problem in Gig Harbor and the Key Peninsula
• What resources exist to help depressed youth, 
• What barriers get in the way of accessing help, and
• What we, as a community, can do better to support young people
